Alexander Technique class adapted for People Living With Parkinson’s and their Care Partners
People living with Parkinson’s and their care-partners are invited to 3 consecutive classes offered by the Porter Ranch Public Library on: Thursdays April 9, 16, and 23 at 2:00 pm.
In this set of classes participants will be introduced to learning how to engage their thinking, and their body in ordinary movements like sitting, walking, or bending. Research on the Alexander Technique adapted for people living with Parkinson’s suggests a number of benefits including reduced rigidity, improved mobility, enhanced balance and postural support, and reduced over-stimulation of the body.
